V.P. Elect Biden Opposes Bill Curbing Asbestos Mesothelioma Lawsuits
In the news today I read an article which stated that newly elected Vice President Joe Biden opposed a bill which would have limited the the number of asbestos mesothelioma lawsuits victims could file. From what i read the bill would have created a collective trust fund which would replace thousands of individual lawsuits. This would cause victims to be restricted from total compensation. V.P Elect Biden has opposed other asbestos mesothelioma lawsuit acts in the past including the Fairness in Asbestos Injury Resolution (FAIR) Act of 2005. This act would limit the amount of future compensation of asbestos mesothelioma lawsuit victims.
This new bill was created and sponsored by Sen. Arlen Spector of Pennsylvania, and Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont. They believe the new bill will help end unwarranted lawsuits.
In my opinion the support of Sen. Biden in this case is greatly appreciated for those who have fallen victim to this deadly cancer and are seeking asbestos mesothelioma lawsuits against companies and factories who should be held responsible.

An asbestosis or mesothelioma class action lawsuit can present a much stronger case than an individual one based on the number of plaintiffs. With a long list of individuals suffering from the same asbestos related illnesses tied to the same defendants, it presents a compelling case.
